Rating: 5 Hearts! "This book had a myriad of complications which were both entertaining and heart-wrenching! The cast of characters were credible and likable; they were many and varied, howerver they helped create a brilliant plot. There are numerous circumstances which both will delight and surprise the readers! Ms. Jennifer Lynn Hoffman has done a superb job of relating this story; I can assure you that you will be glad to have read it! It is an amazing book not to be missed!" Review by Brenda Talley of The Romance Studio
"In AN UNEXPECTED BRIDE, author Jennifer Hoffman takes great care to carefully construct characters who not only come to mean a great deal to one another, but leave the reader sighing in satisfaction. Multifaceted and colorful, Robert and Hope are two passionate people who have been lonely all of their lives. The action and dialogue throughout the book's entirety is robust and full. With the help of several secondary characters, not the least of who is Annalise, I was not let down. "Several characters step up to the plate and beg to have their own stories told. But now, I must content myself to wait quite a while for another Regency romance from this very talented author, THE EARL'S CURSE, which comes out in...AUGUST 2008?! That's, like, way too long! "For a highly enjoyable Regency historical romance, check out AN UNEXPECTED BRIDE over at Awe-Struck today!" Reviewed by Amy Cunningham of Romance Reviews Today |

In fact, you can become so engrossed in the telling that time slips by. This is my first book by Jennifer Hoffman and I am sure it will not be my last. to work by Jennifer Lynn Hoffman, but it definitely will not be my last!
She has a wonderfully exciting way of describing her characters which
make you feel as if you personally know them. The lesser characters
have features which make them distinctive and endear themselves to both
the reader and the overall storyline . . . I truly enjoyed reading this
book and look forward to other selections from Ms. Hoffman. I heartedly

Talley of The Romance Studio "I must say To Love a Gambler
is a mesmerizing read. From the first page to the last, the characters
leap from the pages and spin the reader into the fast-paced storyline.
Cora and Jared are created so wonderfully that they almost appear real.
I really love every detail that surrounds them. Ms. Hoffman tells a
story as if she had taken paint and touched it to a canvas and the characters
had just walked right into ones life. The well-rounded secondary
characters allow the story to flow smoothly linking everything into
a marvelous read. The dialogue between Cora and Jared is state of the
art entertainment, and even when Cora is intermingling with the men
in the card games, she shows her spunk. This is one tale that left such
a huge impression that it will be very hard to ever forget these characters."
